Help with computer speakers please?
Hi,
I have these speakers: 520-10293 UK-5650 5.1 Speaker System ROHS compliant kit

My cats have chewed through 2 of the cables so I need 2 more speakers, please can someone point me in the right direction to ones that would fit this system?

I presume it was not the mains cable that your cats chewed through, or they would not be there to tell the tale, so it would be perfectly safe to mend the cables yourself. Equip yourself with a pair of cable cutters like this

a sharp knife and a small screwdriver. For each speaker cable you have to repair, cut two connectors off the chocolate block. Cut the chewed ends off neatly, and use the sharp knife to take some outer insulation cover off so that you can separate the two wires. Using either the cutters (carefully) or the sharp knife (slowly and carefully) remove about 1 cm of insulation leaving bare wire. Fold the bare wire back double and put it into one hole of the chocolate block. Turn the screw down firmly to anchor the cable. Repeat for the other chewed ends to end up with one newly linked loudspeaker cable. Easy, and much cheaper than a new set of loudspeakers.
