Why does my air con light come on then straight off on my mk6 fiesta?
when i press the A/C switch on my fiesta van the light comes on then goes straight off, if i hold it it stays on, but the air con compressor doesnt kick in im sure.
is there a certain way the heater direction switch has to point? ie outwards? as im not sure its working as it spins round & doesnt seem do make a bit of difference.

If the compressor isn’t kicking it, that usually points to the system being low on refrigerant / R134a gas. Best thing to do is have the system tested for leaks & topped up.
