Battery Charging
Having battery charging problems on a 1990 toyota truck. Anybody have any ideas on the problem?
Changed the alternator and the battery is still on which is suppose to indicate a battery charging problem. The motor is idleing fast and slow fast and slow in a rhythem pattern. The part store put it on the scope and claimed the alternator is working fine.
You might want to make sure that the cables are ok , if they are i would have the battery tested also ,,, anytime you are working and even suspect a problem with the battery please where safety glasses…I can’t stress this enough for your own protection…..I’ve had them explode on me before , be careful with battery’s… good luck
