Blow Molded Case
Looking for a baking mold…?
Hey, I need to bake something in a shape under pressure… envision a hot dog – which swells when cooking (hot dog casing has give but is strong enough to hold the filling in while heat builds up pressure). I need something strong enough to not blow (foil has a tendency to explode. 
while oven safe. Optional shapes would be a plus.
I was thinking that soap molds come in enough interesting shapes to be useful, but they’re not completely enclosed.
People use this method when canning certain things, but I can’t can in metal – though I’ve tried using a can and trying to secure the end of it – oohhh… I wonder if some sort of belt could be used to do that…
I’ve thought of some type of ceramic molds or something that is belted together, but I don’t know if that’s food safe, or where to start! (obviously it would be oven safe).
