What are these tiny flying insects on my kitchen counter and sink?.?

I have these tiny tiny flying insects on my kitchen counter and the wash basin and on the ktichen floor.I find them most of the time dead in my sink and there are lots of them.And the big ones look like mosquitoes.but i dont know if they are mosquitoes.I saw them only today and dont know of they bite.I dont think they bite.

There is NO reason to spray toxic sprays around in your kitchen. Wow, who would want to do that? Just keep all veggies, fruits, kitchen scraps contained and you won’t attract any type of fruit flies. Put any compost from your kitchen scraps also in a sealed container or outside in the compost pile right away. Seems like the warmer weather activates the flies more than the cooler winter season. Who’d want to use toxic sprays anywheres? Does not make any sense. Just screws up the natural ‘cycle!’ I don’t know if they are fruit flies that you have, I’ve never heard of any that size or look like mosquitoes, can you post a picture? Whatever they are, they are harmless!
