Cut Out Tool
Why can’t i cut images out of a photoshop doc. after using the magnetic tool?
hi, have been using photoshop for uni recently, but today when i use the magnetic tool to cut sections out of a larger image, it will not let me cut them out afterwards. i can move the selected outline, but the actual image i am trying to cut out stays put. any ideas? thanks
1. Make sure the layer with the image you are trying to cut out is not locked.
2. Make sure that you are actually on the correct layer! It can be deceptive sometimes. Check your Layers palette and that you’ve clicked on the layer that actually has the image you are trying to cut out.
