what physical property does plastic have to dull metal cutters or blades?
my teacher told us that it has something to do with the plastic getting hot. what property do plastics have to dull metal blades or cutters?
it has something to do with the ‘density’ and the ‘elasticity’ of the plastic itself…plus when plastic is being cut or chopped it does heat up, meaning the molecules will blend and bind together making it difficult to separate.
