How To Personalize Your Princess Wedding Band

The princess cut is one of the most popular cuts for jewelry nowadays since it is a beautiful and modern cut that definitely brings the best out of any gem. Wedding bands don’t have to be plain and simple, they can be adorned with gems and engravings and other great designs. This is why it is a good idea to get a princess wedding band, a wedding band with a princess cut gemstone in it.

The princess cut is one of the best cuts for gemstones, and is the most brilliant square shaped design. It is beautiful and you can easily use it with diamonds and other gemstones. You can put this in your wedding band and make it even more special than before.

If you want the princess cut stone to be the center of attention, you can make it a solitaire setting for your wedding band. Usually, four prongs are required to keep the princess cut diamond or gemstone in the ring so that it will reflect light from many areas. It keeps the gem stable and in place.

Another way that you can use princess cut stones is in the pave setting. This means that several stones will be used all around the wedding band and create a shiny surface for the whole band. Channel settings work well too, since they keep several stones in between two pieces of metal along the band.

You can also use a three stone setting, meaning that you will have three different gemstones for your ring. You can have one large one and two smaller ones or three equally sized stones. Whatever style of putting your princess cut stone in your wedding band is good as long as you feel satisfied with it.

Another way of personalizing your wedding band is by engraving the band either on the inside or the outside of the band. You can engrave names or even a whole quote on your ring. Find something that is meaningful to you so that you will be reminded of it whenever you see your ring.

You can use different kinds of metals for your princess wedding band so that you can create different effects with your stones. White gold, yellow gold, platinum, and silver are all great metals to use. Choosing a silver colored metal will make the gemstone shine brightly and choosing a golden colored metal will make the stone seem white in comparison to the gold band.
