How much to replace a bicycle wheel?
I recently purchased a GT Avalanche 2.0 from a local bike shop. Having had it only two weeks, I am astonished and appalled that a wheel has already been stolen.

Yes, it is the front wheel that got stolen.
I know I should have locked it up or detached it from the bike when I parked it, but I honestly did not think that leaving the bike parked for an hour or two in mid afternoon, while shopping for groceries, wouldn’t be safe.
Oh well, we win some & lose some. I guess I have learned my lesson.
You want the exact same wheel? Go back to the same bike shop. While there – buy a GOOD LOCK. Also you didn’t state if it was a front or rear wheel. The rear wheel is going to be a lot more expensive.
No offense bud…but buying a $650 bike & not locking it up properly is just plain dumb. I wouldn’t even let it out of my site if it were mine.
