Different sex-drives – can a relationship work?
I have a much higher sex-drive than my boyfriend. I could easily have it every day, maybe more, but he seems to be fine to go without all the time unless I make the first move.
Firstly, I know he doesn’t have anyone else. That’s definitely not a worry. He’s never had a really high sex-drive, but it has got worse recently.
Secondly, he does suffer with depression. I’m not stupid, I know that has an impact on the sex-drive.
But ultimately, whatever the reasons, can it work in the long-term? I already resent him for the lack of sex, and I’m worried that if things will always be like this, I may end up cheating. I have tried to talk to him, but he finds it very difficult to open up. I feel totally frustrated all the time and have a much stronger relationship with my Rampant Rabbit.
I don’t want this to sound shallow – I love him to bits and want us to have a future. But I cannot help the fact that I do need a lot of sex, and I think this will cause problems in the future.
