Intellichoice.com Names “best Deals” for March 2007
Car buyers are always looking for information when looking for the right car that they would use in their everyday duties and special whims. The Internet is a big help for them since information are readily available for them. Case in point is the “Best Deals” list from IntelliChoice.com, one of the leading online sources of auto ownership information.
The online firm has recently released their list of recommended vehicles for the month of March this year. “With the summer driving months approaching, IntelliChoice.com is giving consumers a more complete picture of the new car offerings for the year,” says James Bell, a publisher of IntelliChoice.com. “In particular, we wanted to offer greater insight into crossovers, which have quickly established themselves as a critical segment with automakers and consumers alike,” Bell added further.
The list features the best deals for crossover since the class is fast becoming one of the significant segments in the auto market. IntelliChoice.com revealed their recommended vehicles for the Compact SUV /Crossover, Midsize Crossover, and Luxury Crossover segments.
The Ford Escape Hybrid takes the first prize among the class of compact SUVs or crossovers. The Volkswagen Touareg TDI, on the other hand, IntelliChoice.com voted as their best deal in the midsize crossover market. For the luxury crossover market, the Lexus RX 350 FWD takes the top spot.
The versatility of these vehicles is the main reason for their popularity among car buyers. These crossover vehicles are built around the platform of small cars like the sedan which gives them the agility like that you can find in small cars.
While crossovers have a platform made for small cars, they are constructed similar in size and structure as large vehicles like SUVs which are based on truck constructions. This means that they can be fitted with truck aftermarket parts like those made by Pace Edwards.
Aside from the aforementioned winners for the crossover markets, other notable vehicles tagged as “Best Deals” by IntelliChoice.com are the MINI Cooper Convertible and the Audi A4 2.0T Cabriolet which won the top spot for the Convertible Car and Luxury Convertible Car segments respectively. Another best deal is the Chevrolet Tahoe LS among SUVs.
For intermediate SUVs, the Toyota 4Runner SR5 V6 2WD is named as the best deal. The Lexus GX 470 meanwhile is dubbed as the “Best Deal” among luxury SUVs. For the Subcompact Car segment, IntelliChoice.com tagged the MINI Cooper Hatchback as the “Best Deal”.
Other “Best Deals” are: the Honda Civic Si for the Base Sport Car segment; the Honda Civic Hybrid for the Compact Car over $16,000 segment; the Honda Civic DX for the Compact Car under $16,000 class; the Toyota Prius Touring for the Midsize Car over $21,000 category; and the Toyota Prius base model for the Midsize Car under $21,000 group.
