Whom should we give presents for this christmas? to our Loved ones? or the Uncared? or those who do not know ?
For Every christmas we are selecting best things for our loved ones and exchange gifts that is for the people who have tasted the love our Lord Jesus Christ. Do n’t you feel is our duty to proclaim the love of Jesus to the people who donot know Him. Our Living Lord Provided everything for us. We want to reciprocate for His divine Love.God Says Truly I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these bretheren,you did it to me Matt 25 : 40 Mosjos Mission working among gypsies wants to say Celebrate this Christmas with the poor and Proclaim the love our Lord among the unknown. Every year, I give presents to them all. I buy gifts for my loved ones, family and friends. I shop slowly throughout the year for all my gifts, because I am on a pension, I can’t afford a lot.
I also fill a couple of shoe-boxes with gifts for ‘Operation Christmas Child’, organised by The Samaritan’s Purse, which are sent overseas to children in underprivileged countries.
At our church, we have a Christmas tree with ‘boy/girl/age’ tags on it, and I take a couple of tags from the tree, and buy appropriate presents for the tag, place them under the tree, and the church hand them out to the needy families.
The good Lord has provided me with so much, it is easy to give something back to people less fortunate than ourselves.
I also make Christmas trees, and decorate them, and give them to people I discover do not have a tree or decorations to brighten their homes. They know I am a Christian, and often even come to a service with me. Even once is better than nothing, and I pray for them.
I buy an item almost every cheque, and put it in a box, and am able to give a hamper each year to an elderly neighbour.
You need to decide for yourself what you wish to do. The Lord will honour your decision, whatever it is.
