The Stepfather Movie (Please help!)?
I’m really, really confused. I saw the trailer for The Stepfather and thought it looked really cool. At the end of the trailer there’s a scene where there’s this kind of circular electric saw typed thing, and it’s about to go through the main guys girlfriends head, but it’s being held up by the stepfather, and she screams, and he lets it fall on her. This is NOT in the movie! That scene is not in the movie. In the movie the saw just falls on the floor by her. I don’t get it. I wanna see what happens to the girl when he lets the saw go. I checked if there was an alternate ending. There isn’t.
This is hollywood messing with your mind. It may have been a deleted scene. Most likely, they add that scene to add suspense making the customer want to see the movie. Like you for instance, you saw it for that scene however that scene is not in there. Also, they want you to watch it thinking you know what will happen but you wont. This is a marketing technique to `hook` the viewer.
