I am planning on moving to Harrisburg, PA area. My wife and I are worried about the gas and electric bill.?

Does anyone know that maybe lives in the area know how much each cost in the winter and summer. What kind of house is it (apartment, townhouse or house)? What kond of heater does it have (gas, electric, heatpump, etc)? Thanks for your time.

I live in the area in a huge, drafty, very old house, which is hopefully more expensive than what you will live in.
However, asking my neighbors, 2 bedroom homes seem to run about $100 in winter and $70 in summer for electric.
For gas, they all pay a budgeted amount of roughly $125. a month, 12 months of the year. The gas is for cooking and the furnace.
Of course, these dollar amounts will vary based on your usage. Do you want to keep the house at 75 degrees all winter, or can you be happy with 66 degrees? In the summer, can you live with just fans, or do you want to chill your rooms down to 70 degrees with air conditioners?
