Better productivity is about to head straight

Is Your Head Straight?
Have you ever the film Cool Hand Luke, starring Paul Newman? There are a number of scenes where the sheriff says Paul Newman, the prisoner who has escaped to his head just to get, he will stop flight. I have this connection, how thin they may be, with almost all of my clients. I'm not trying constantly from prison to Escape that I know, but the connection it is still.
In every seminar I've ever been to get this theme peoples head just comes. It is central to better at whatever you do, not only increase your production, but in any endeavor you choose. Let's see if I can articulate a little better.
Two-person, two different perspectives.
Two people look at someone on the site, one person only pays attention to the design, the other person looks only at the encoding. Simple, a person is a web designer, the other person is a Web programmer. We see things from our own perspective. This is a simple form, his head straight. If you want to increase your production, your ability to do more, you must get your head straight, to start, to see, you have to do that from a certain angle. Stop it, a job from the end result perspective. Start looking to ask what you do and how to do it and start some simple basic questions.
• I have given this task, the respect it deserves by properly prepare myself to do it?
• Are all tools, supplies, materials, resources and activities in the port city allow me to fulfill this task?
• Are people, including me, correctly trained to perform this task?
• Is there systems, policies and procedures for figuring out this task?
· AM I correct in accordance with the procedures and methods to perform this task?
These are just some of the questions you ask yourself if you try to increase your production, you should. If these questions and much more as they are, you are starting to head straight to the head.
It's everywhere
What There's everywhere? Ways to improve and increase your effectiveness. I was in a client inventory and we were talking about something that I can not even mind remember what it was, and I noticed one of his employees to walk all the way from the back of the store to the front to get a label and a staple gun to walk all the Away on the reverse side, staple the label on a box, then walk all the way to put forward again the stapler. The entire process, back and forth and then back and forth took about 5 minutes. I asked my customers how times a day, this employee has, the routine, he said 7 or 8 times. Then I said, why did not he, at the beginning of the shift, when he go to his job, take your stapler and labels enough for the whole day, saving about 30 to 40 minute walk every day wasted? Never thought It was to answer. You see his head was not just about attention to production issues.
This is a very simple example, but one that emphasizes that ways to increase your efficiency and productivity are everywhere. Every time you have something to start doing anything, this act gives you the opportunity to do what you do, better, faster and more efficient, all components increase your productivity. This process only works if you are looking for these situations and You put the right head. Proper head set another way of saying, "You have your head straight."
Focus
It is not a new direction just another way to reinforce what I already say, here. If you productivity issues and concerns to your radar screen and are concentrated in them to add there there is no reason you see no improvement in this area. It sounds very simple and banal, but after dealing with these issues for 35 years, you learn that if you work on the basics, the big questions never dealt properly with either.
