I wonder which ferry or ferry boats have the loudest horn.
Also which Ferry boats have the least loud horn?
sound of horn depends on length of vessel. small boats have shrill whistles capable of hearing at a distance of 1/2 mile where as ocean going ships ( above 150 m – I’m not so sure) have a lower frequency horn capable of being audible at five miles.
