How to get out very rusty, stuck screw?

I try to take my truck to cover the difference. The cover is so rusty, the gear oil when penetrates the metal. The 10 screws holding it there are so rusty that the heads of them are completely deformed stainless. I've tried some liquid Wrench and a socket, but it ended up rounding the heads of the screws. I also tried to set the Irwin Bolt-Grip Extractor without success. I have tried heat and Vise Grips, which also did not work. How hard would it be to drill the screws? (I have 8 left, I have not rusted off those 2) The heads of the screws are still attached. Can I drill them with the heads still on? What are your suggestions? (And no, I do not have a welder) This "easy" project-driven me crazy. It should be as simple, remove screws, put in new cover and gasket, new bolts and screw it in. ….. RIGHT too bad my truck along with Stainless merged. Thank you for your help!

Heat it again to try and smash it with a hammer a few times then grab the screw again, or try to a smaller size socket on the hammer head to get a good grip. Use drilling as a last option
