“Doc…..I need for you to check out my….my….uhhhh….My ’sit-upon.’ ” She squirmed as she sheepishly stared at the floor.
“Your….? OHHHHH….Your ass. Why? ” Doc chuckled.
“Well….I think I have a 3) Cheek cut.”
“Hmm.Hmm.Hmm. You are Matt better slow down a bit.” His chuckle grew louder.”Is there EVER a 4) Lull
in your all’s love making?”
Sunshine “dropped trou .”
“You have a nasty scrape but you don’t need any stitches.” Doc reached over for the bottle of antiseptic.”You DO realize how un13) Conventional you are….Right?”
Sunshine’s laugh was cut short by the sting of the medicine.
“Doc…..When Matt and I get together…..” A glow seemed to envelope her at the mention of Matt’s name.” Doc….9) Paint splatters, lightning strikes and heaven’s gates open.”
Doc wiped the drool that was forming at the corner of his mouth.”Uh huh,” was all he could say.
“The 7) Nuts and bolts of it is this, Doc….I’m in love with the man, plain and simple.”
“He makes you happy, does he?”
“Just call me, 5) HAP …….Horny and Satisfied.”
“Errrr, wouldn’t that be HAS, not HAP?”
“I suppose….. I never really get hung up on details,” replied Sunshine as she gingerly slipped back into her jeans.
Doc shook his head, as if to show his befuddlement at Sunshine’s logic.
“Doc…I’m headed to the Long Branch for a drink…Wanna join me?”
“Why, sure. You gonna get your usual, Sunshine?”
“Nope…Thought I’d try a 12) Screwdriver. Kitty seems to be quite fond of them.”
“Kitty’s quite fond of ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, alcoholic,” said Doc in a sad voice.
“Yeah, well, the broad’s a lush. Whadda expect?”

As they entered the Long Branch two gents at the bar tipped their hats in Sunshine’s direction.
“2) Plumb….. Bob ….How you two guys doin’?”
“Fine, Miss Sunshine, just fine. How’re your teeth?”
“Fine.Just fine,” replied Sunshine ,between sips of her drink.
Plumb Ketchum was the local dentist in Dodge. Bob Killam was his assistant. Yep….Ketchum and Killum were quite a pair!
As Sunshine conversed with the dentists, in strolled Miss Kitty.
“Well.Well.Well. If it isn’t 6) Birdsmouth , herself.” Mumbling to herself…..”You nasty old crow.”
Sunshine smiled,gulped her drink and let out a loud BURP!
“My GAWD!! What in HELL does Matt see in you, anyway?”Kitty was aghast at her lack of decorum.
Sunshine wiped her mouth and went to the swinging doors.
“Well?! If you’re gonna go….GO, already!!!!” yelled Kitty.
Sunshine dropped her pants and exposed her injured cheek.
Giggling ,she exclaimed: ” Hee Haw and kiss my sorry ass!”
Plumb, Bob, Doc and the other patrons laughed uproarishly as Kitty plopped down in a chair and rolled her weary eyes!
