Kits Flux Solder
Help in soldering 911!?
I am trying to solder a hose bib and coper pipe, this is my first time. I am now trying it with a Lot kit I bought at Lowes. I cannot get the skinny silver piece of wire to melt on the pipes … It is not hot enough or I need more flow? this is my first time help please!
OK Go would start from scratch, ok>>>> here we all wipe it clean from now until the end of the tube male sand up real bright then dont touch with your hands (oil) then sand female end (BIB) flux both put togather then slowlyy heat then tap the solder tip to pipe connection until it flows like to go once all the fans twice then wipe with a damp cloth (be careful steam HOT) let me know what happens
