Can I plumbing solder and flux on steel, galvanized, etc?
I bought a soldering kit with a propane torch and some solder and flux for Sanitary use. I want to drill holes in a piece of steel and put nails into the holes. Then I will solder the nail on the steel. Is the strong … how could To force them to break with £ 100? The nails are very large 10-inch galvanized nails. I'm with nails, because I could not find, this large screws. I also put a nut on the nail and solder the piece of steel and nails to help hold the whole thing. How strong is the soldering?
Possibly You can get the stuff to stick together for a while, but all of the above is not a good idea. The first problem is that the application of heat to the galvanized Share is the inhalation. A better idea is to go into the center and buy some threaded rod, cut it to length and put nuts on both sides of the piece steel and this will screw you wanted to.
