Long Boy Drill

Army recruiter or drill sergeant..?

My husband has been in the Army for 6 years come this August. He is deployed to Iraq now and won’t return until February. This is his 3rd deployment and is wanting a break. He’s thinking about either turning in his packet for recruiter or drill sergeant and isn’t sure which way to go. I’ve heard good and bad stories about both but am looking for opinions on which might be the better way to go.. Especially from people who have had experience with either. I understand that both are bound to have long days but I’d rather have a long day then not seeing him at all for a year especially now that we have a baby boy. So I’m just looking for some info on one, the other, or both from anybody who knows remotely anything about them.. Thanks.
