Miiifs Bostich
beginner flooring question?
Im using an MIIIFS Bostich nail/staple gun I want to know what is the best thing to use with it if I want to fasten 3/4″ birch.
You ll need an air compressor with a minimum 3 gallon tank to start with. As you need new equipment , up grade then. Most flooring in 3/4″ I recommend nothing less than the 2″ staple.
When compressor is full , these nailers take just a small whack you make them shoot a staple. Harder hits when the board is a bit warped or needs to be driven tighter .
They are slow to get to used to but once your familiar w/ it, you can do a lot of wood in a day.. I ve had mine for many years. Oil daily to keep seals from drying out.
Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar.. GL
