I need a 220 volt double outlet adapter, they sell one?

I have a one 220 volt outlet, and I need to plug in two different units into the one outlet. Do they sell a multi adapter that I can convert one outlet into two outlets?

Most 220 volt outlets are sized for their load. An outlet installed for an electric range will have the circuit breaker and wiring needed to carry the load of your standard range. A 220 volt outlet installed for a dryer will have a circuit breaker and wiring sized for a typical dryer. If you’re trying to run 2 ranges or similar load from one 220 volt outlet you may simply trip the circuit breaker. I’ve never seen a 220 volt outlet adapter with 2 outlets on it and simply adding an outlet to the existing circuit may cause problems. You’re better off having a second outlet installed by a licensed electrician.
