Stuck Jobmate Rotary Tool Spindle Lock?
Hey now for those of you who are familiar with this spindle lock, you have to press on the button close the spindle, and twist the chuck in order to take out your accesory(grinding stone for example).
Now one day i was sanding my piece of wood and when i stoped the motor(pressing the off switch-correct way of stopping it) and i set it down to the table to check on the wood and forsee any more work to be done with it.
And when i decided to remove the bit out, i pressed on the and button, while holding the button, i used the included wrench to twist the chuck, there was no resistance -,- .When i twisted it , the whole thing just turned instead of the chuck that holdes in the bit?
I might have tightened it too much but that could not be the case as i have tried many clamping methods to twist the chuck
Need help!
You broke the spindle lock when you put down the tool!!!Just take apart the head and remove the spindle look.Will remain a hole in which you insert a screw driver to look the spindle when you change the accessory or you can buy a spare part and replace it.Hope this will help.Good luck!!!
