how to clean this specific mass air flow sensor?
here’s the link to the sensor that i have on my 1998 lexus es300

i took it out and using flashlight i can see the 2 thin wires inside the sensor that i was told to use electrical cleaner spray to clean it. But there’s just 1 opening (the smaller side) to spray into the sensor, and there seems to have a cap at the other side that can be open, but it wont be able to open by hand easily, i was wondering if i should use wrench or pliers to open it.
Is this specific sensor easy to clean? Or should i just buy a new one?
There’s an auto zone near where i live, do they charge core price on the sensor too?

Electrical spray cleaner won’t hack the mission. Pick up a spray can of CRC Mas Air Flow Sensor Cleaner or CRC Throttle body Cleaner at any auto parts store.
