I have a nissan almera 1800 sport plus at 4500 revs at full throttle there is a flat point to the red line if?
I have a nissan almera 1800 sport plus at 4500 revs in second at full throttle there is a flat spot. If i rev slowly to the red line it is not half as bad
Sounds like there may be a fuel pressure problem, so when you floor the throttle there is a drop in pressure that the fuel system cannot make up.
The most likely reason for this is that the fuel rail return pressure regulator has either split or is sticking. Its a cheap and easy fix.
