Rolling Tape Measure

Am I measuring my height correctly?
I have a tape measure to measure my height with…the measure I use rolls up
what i’ve been doing is taking the tiny steel piece and sticking it under my foot and only that part..
Then when I measure myself it say’s 5′8 1/2 am I doing this right?
I’m turning seventeen but I’m still growing my mom is 5′11 and my grandma was 6′1 ha
I dont have objection on your method of getting your actual height but there is a high percentage of error in doing it alone. Ask assistance so you can get a more accurate height.
