Rotary Grinding
Collet nut lost its threading after 5 minutes?
I bought a dremel-like rotary tool yesterday and used it for about 5 minutes. I was using a grinding stone against my computer case when the bit slipped out of the tool. Now I can’t attach it back in because the collet nut doesn’t seem to be able to be tightened back on. I think it lost its threading or something.
I’ve never had one of these tools, so I don’t know if I neglected to be careful somewhere while I was using it. What did I possibly do wrong? The brand of this tool is GreatNeck, are they known to make shoddy tools?
