Starter Battery
about the cost of a starter and battery?
I took my 1998 chevy prism to a mechanic because when i tried to start it the first few times it will click and then it will turn over. The mechanic said it was the starter and battery and it will cost $618.00 to have it fixed. I think that is a bit much. I just had a life time battery put in about a year ago.
Stay away from box stores like Auto Zone for terrible – off-shore electrical parts. It takes no more than 40 minutes to install a starter on any four cylinder motor.
