Table Saw Motor
Is this a sign of a bad 1hp motor or bad capacitor?
to get my table saw motor running, i’ve got to get the blade spinning then the motor will kick in, otherwise the blade won’t spin and the motor will over heat, tripping the on board circuit breaker…..
Look at the Capacitor if it is wet anywhere on top by the terminals get another one You can Normally hear the centrifugal Start switch kick out
I think it is Either a bad Start cap or your Centrifugal switch is not making they are normally Closed on Start and Centrifugal force slings it open and drops out the Capacitor You can take the Capacitor out take it to your local WW grainger and they can test it for you There and get yo a new one if it is bad try that First
