Housing mounting
IP Cameras with different mounting styles come. This includes pole mounts, wall mounts, ceiling mounts and corner mounted. These different types of support allow you to install the housing in various environments easily and effectively. Some enclosures are sold with mounts, although some are sold separately. This allows you the same case in different applications with the purchase of the necessary use of brackets for each enclosure installation.
Indoor / Outdoor housing
Sometimes a severe housing is not required. For some indoor camera installations is a basic plastic case exactly correct. These types of packages are more affordable, but provide minimal protection for the IP camera to protect against minor damage. If the housing is installed outdoors be, there are several other aspects to be considered. The following are some concerns with the installation of an outdoor IP camera enclosure.
Environment Concerns
One of the most important uses of outdoor IP camera enclosure is to keep your IP camera from weather that would destroy the camera, when against the elements of rain, snow, protect exposed to heat and cold. Check In searching for an outdoor IP camera housing, what kind of weather conditions, the housing and Camera must resist. If the housing is in an open area that would fall to stimulate the top of the case, you should have a housing that is properly sealed so that moisture penetration into account. You certainly want to make that the case has proper air flow for the camera. A completely closed Housing with no air circulation could overheat your camera.
Heater and fan are also common components in enclosures. These allow the temperature and keep the air flow of the housing in an appropriate range for the IP camera. These are ideal for the winter and humid summers. Pay attention to where the temperature range the heater and blower, whether the required temperature range of IP camera.
Installation
Some housing is to install a pain. It is wise to read the installation directions before purchasing the equipment if possible. Some manufacturers offer downloadable manuals and guides for the installation package. From these, you will be able to say how difficult the installation housing and it will give you a chance to provide additional equipment for the installation of the system required to purchase.
Power requirements must also be considered, as each case requires different voltages depending on the features, including Heating, fan, built-in camera power supplies, etc.. You must be sure what kind of power is the IP camera requires and have run separate power to the camera when necessary.
Supported IP Cameras
Not all IP cameras are supported by each case. You must ensure that your camera is full by the housing or the IP camera may not fit properly in the interior of the housing support. Some operators are generic, however it still possible that the IP camera too big for the housing whereby the housing is not sealed properly.
The majority of cabinet manufacturers offer a Supported IP camera list you verify that your IP camera can support. Make sure to check out that no additional required are to allow the camera to be installed in the housing mounts.
Some IP camera manufacturers also provide housing for their cameras, which were tested to the camera certainly works correctly in the case.
Vandalism resistance
Many cases provide protection from vandalism and tamper-proof screws. These enclosures are designed to provide protection if an intruder tries to prevent the camera in an effort to videos that can provide damage recorded.
