Do you think my sister is jealous of me?
She has always known that i’m naturally very skinny. Well, today she was being mean to me and saying that being skinny isn’t a good thing. Actually this just hasn’t only happened today. She says bad things about my weight a lot. She said that boys don’t like skinny girls. Yet, she almost never eats. She always looks at the calories in food and drinks. She says the less calories the better. She will only drink coke zero and not regular coke. She gets excited when she finds out some food has no calories and then she only eats that. She hangs a tape measure in her room. Which i’ve seen her measure her waist with. She bragged to me how she got her waist down to a 24. Mine switches between a 23 and a 24. She has lost a lot of weight in the last couple of months.
Its hard to be happy for her becuase she is never happy for me.
She wasn’t even overweight to begin with.
yes, shes probably insecure about her weight and is trying to bring you down to make her feel better, she doesnt actually think those things are true but she wants to believe them so she can feel better about herself. try to compliment her on how she looks, tell her that she looks good at the weight shes on, encourage her, then shell start feeling good about herself and feel bad about being mean to you. also if you think shes losing weight too fast, like its getting to be a problem, talk to her about that and try to help her.
