The Maplestory ahn hacking shield is saying hack tool found even if i don’t have any hack tools?

I have recently just started up on Maple. I downloaded it. Downloaded a patch, re-installed it 4 times. It still says error, hack tool detected. What is this?

here are some things that might help try them all

Top sulotion (worked for most people)

1. Check your computer for a security program that deals with processes directly (As attaching to the MapleStory process is how a large number of hacking programs work, HackShield considers these security programs as hacking threats.). One example of such program is ProcessGuard (this is what I had).

2. Don’t disable it, don’t close it, UNINSTALL IT. Seriously, neither disabling nor closing will work in this case. You have to uninstall the security program. (It’d be nice if Nexon somehow added these kinds of programs to an allow list on HackShield, but we can’t have everything.)

3. Run MapleStory, it should work like normal now.

Others

Redownload and reinstall MapleStory.

Delete the Gameguard folder.

Try to access Maple from a different Admin account (I use Win XP).

Closing ALL my antivurus/anti-spyware software.

Closing EVERYTHING that my computer didn’t ABSOLUTELY need to run.

Running ASPLnchr.exe, then closing its process.
