Volt Battery Makita

whats up with these makita 18 volt batteries?

I have gone through 3 18 volt makita lx batteries in the last 10 months – they always crap out when using a circular saw – they are meant to be industrial work tools. Anyone else have problems with them ? ( fairplay to makita UK – they replced all of them no bother – ( the replacement ones have a yellow base compared to white – maybe these are a new generation!) 12 months is up on them now and from now on im going to have to pay for them.

I used to have 3 batts with white base,only 1 developed such a fault,full charge wouldn’t last long,other 2 ok.
Although they take forever to charge.
Never had any yellow ones.
Our company have switched to Milwaukee drills/saws & no such trouble.
As for all batts make sure they are fully flat before recharging.
