Washer Pump Cleaning
2002 dodge stratus windshield washer fluid not working?
I have a 2002 dodge stratus with a full tank of fluid and the jets are clean but when I press the fluid button nothing comes out i don’t even hear the pump running i do hear a clicking sound up by my under hood fuse panel. but the panel doesn’t indicate any fuse for the washer fluid?? any ideas please
It’s probably the washer pump but be sure to test for power going to the pump and it’s not impossible that the plug on the pump is loose.You can purchase a universal washer pump for those that is about 12-20 bucks and their easy to install just follow the instructions, also you could try a U pull auto wreckers and there is probably a few dif years or models that will fit your vehicle , that way you just end up replacing the whole washer fluid container.
